Connect Flowlu
Connect Flowlu and put your records on the map.
Put your Flowlu accounts, contacts and deals on the map so reps can see what's nearby and managers can see coverage at a glance.
1. Open Data Sources
In GeoMaps, open the menu in the top-right corner of the map and choose Data Sources. Add a new source and select Flowlu to open its connection form.

2. Connect Flowlu
Flowlu connects with your portal address and an API key.
- In Flowlu, open System Settings → API Settings and create a key with access to CRM, Users and Custom fields. For two-way sync, give it write access to CRM too.
- In GeoMaps, enter your Portal address (yourcompany.flowlu.com) and paste the API key, then connect.
- Choose the objects to import — Organizations, Contacts and Opportunities.
Organizations and Contacts are placed at one address each: billing first, then shipping, then the address or legal address fields. Opportunities are placed at their customer's location automatically.
3. Choose what to map
Pick the object(s) you want to plot and confirm which field holds the address (GeoMaps suggests one for you). Every record is geocoded and dropped on the map, then kept in sync on a schedule as your data changes.
Good to know
- Two-way sync: click the pencil next to a field in a marker popup to change it. The edit is saved in Flowlu too and shows up in the data source's Logs.
- New records: right-click the map and choose Add marker to add an organization or contact to Flowlu.
- Sync: GeoMaps re-reads Flowlu about every 30 minutes. Flowlu limits API requests per portal, shared with your other integrations.
- Inactive organizations and contacts, and won or lost opportunities, are imported too. Filter them out with a list filter if you don't need them.
- Owners: to let each rep see only their own records, choose Owner (or Assignee for opportunities) as the owner field. See Managing who sees your data.
Troubleshooting
- "Flowlu has no portal at this address": check the portal address. It's the part of your Flowlu web address before .flowlu.com, e.g. yourcompany.flowlu.com.
- "Flowlu didn't accept the API key": the key was mistyped or deleted. Create a new one in System Settings → API Settings.
- Owners show as ids, or dropdown fields show option ids: the key has no access to Users or Custom fields. Add that access in System Settings → API Settings; the next sync fills in the names.
- Replacing the key: open Data Sources, pick the Flowlu source, click Connection, paste the new key and click Reconnect.
Disconnect Flowlu
Open Data Sources, pick the Flowlu source and click Delete data source. Its lists are removed from GeoMaps; nothing is deleted in Flowlu. To revoke access completely, delete the key in System Settings → API Settings — Flowlu deactivates it at once.
