Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of GeoMaps.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Erik Galstian, a sole trader based in Spain operating the GeoMaps platform ("GeoMaps", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your access to and use of our website at https://geomaps.co and the GeoMaps application at https://app.geomaps.co (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • If you invite team members to your account, you are responsible for their use of the Service and for ensuring they comply with these Terms.
  • Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3. The Service and your licence to use it

GeoMaps lets you import or connect data, plot it on interactive maps, build territories, routes, widgets and visualisations, and share or publish maps. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

We are continually improving the Service and may add, change or remove features. We will try not to materially reduce core functionality of a paid plan during a paid period.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

Free and paid plans

We offer a free plan with usage limits and paid subscription plans with higher limits and additional features. Current plans and limits are shown on our pricing page.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Prices are exclusive of taxes such as VAT, which may be added where applicable.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you keep access until then. Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting a paid subscription that gives you immediate access to the digital Service, you ask us to begin performance immediately and acknowledge that you lose this withdrawal right once the Service has been fully provided.

Changes and failed payments

We may change our prices; we will give you at least 30 days' notice and changes take effect at your next renewal. If a payment fails, we may retry, suspend, or downgrade your account to the free plan until payment is resolved.

5. Your data and content

You retain all rights to the data and content you import, connect or create in the Service ("Customer Data"). We do not claim ownership of it.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, display and process Customer Data solely to provide, secure and improve the Service and as you instruct us through the Service.

You are responsible for your Customer Data. You represent that you have all rights, permissions and lawful bases needed to upload and process it, including any personal data about third parties, in compliance with applicable laws such as the GDPR. For personal data in your Customer Data you are the controller and we are your processor, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual-property rights;
  • Upload data you do not have the right to use, or personal data without a lawful basis;
  • Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
  • Probe, scan, overload, disrupt or circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service or its providers;
  • Reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense or create a competing service from the Service, except where the law expressly permits;
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages, or to harass others.

You must also comply with the terms of any third-party service you connect (such as Google, your CRM, Mapbox, HERE or Stripe).

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with and relies on third-party services — for example Stripe for payments, Mapbox and HERE for maps, geocoding and routing, OpenAI for AI features, and Google and the CRMs you connect for data connections. Your use of those services through GeoMaps may also be governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services and may change providers; we are not liable for their availability, accuracy or acts.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you beyond the limited licence to use the Service.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them to improve the Service, with no obligation to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that geocoding, routing, demographic or AI-generated outputs will be accurate or complete. You are responsible for checking such outputs before relying on them for important decisions. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded by law, including consumer rights.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law. If you are a consumer, this section applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or where necessary for legal or security reasons; where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.

Free accounts that go unused are also cleared out: if nobody signs in to a free account for 60 days, we email the account owner and delete that account's Customer Data if nobody signs in within the following 7 days. Signing in before the date in that email cancels it. This does not apply to paid accounts. Our Privacy Policy sets this out in full.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. You can export your Customer Data before closing your account; after closure we delete or anonymise it as described in our Privacy Policy, except where the law requires us to keep it. Terms that by their nature should survive (such as payment owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) will survive termination.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your account.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Barcelona, Spain for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts there.

15. General

  • Entire agreement — these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver — our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment — you may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure — we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Notices — we may send notices to the email on your account; legal notices to us go to [email protected].
