What is a GPX file?
GPX (GPS Exchange Format) is the standard file for GPS data. It stores tracks (the path you actually recorded), routes (a planned path) and waypoints (named points), and it's what GPS devices, fitness apps and route planners export.
Drop a GPX here to check a recorded track, review a planned route before a trip, or confirm the waypoints a colleague sent you, without uploading it to an account.
- Shows tracks, routes and waypoints with their names and properties.
- Elevation and timestamps are kept in the data but aren't charted.
