Put your Jobber clients, properties and jobs on the map so you can see where your crews work, group nearby visits and grow in the right neighborhoods.

1. Open Data Sources

In GeoMaps, open the menu in the top-right corner of the map and choose Data Sources. Add a new source and select Jobber to open its connection form.

2. Connect Jobber

Jobber connects with a secure sign-in — no keys to copy.

  • Click Connect Jobber and sign in as an admin of your Jobber account.
  • Approve the access GeoMaps requests.
  • Choose the objects to import — Clients, Properties and Jobs are selected for you; Quotes and Visits are available too.

Properties are placed where Jobber itself located the service address, so they need no extra geocoding. Jobs, Quotes and Visits are placed at their property automatically, and Clients at their billing address. Visits cover the last 30 days and the next 90.

3. Choose what to map

Pick the object(s) you want to plot and confirm which field holds the address (GeoMaps suggests one for you). Every record is placed on the map, geocoded only where needed, then kept in sync on a schedule as your data changes.

Good to know

  • Two-way sync: click the pencil next to a field in a marker popup to change it. The edit is saved in Jobber too and shows up in the data source's Logs. Clients, properties and jobs can be edited; quotes and visits are read-only.
  • New clients: right-click the map and choose Add marker to add a client to Jobber.
  • Sync: GeoMaps re-reads Jobber about once an hour. Jobber limits how much data apps may read, so it doesn't sync more often.
  • Owners: to let each person see only their own work, choose Salesperson (jobs and quotes) or Assigned to (visits) as the owner field. See Managing who sees your data. Clients and properties have no owner in Jobber.
  • Connect each Jobber account to one GeoMaps workspace. Jobber keeps one active connection per account, so a second workspace signing in disconnects the first.

Troubleshooting

  • "The GeoMaps app was disconnected in Jobber": GeoMaps was disconnected from Jobber's Apps page. Reconnect to resume syncing.
  • "This Jobber account is no longer active": reactivate the account in Jobber, then reconnect.
  • Reconnecting: open Data Sources, pick the Jobber source, click Connection and then Reconnect, and sign in again. Your lists, filters and styling are kept.

Disconnect Jobber

Open Data Sources, pick the Jobber source and click Delete data source. Its lists are removed from GeoMaps and the GeoMaps app is disconnected from your Jobber account; nothing is deleted in Jobber. You can also disconnect it any time from Jobber's Apps page.
