How to Find Locations Within a Radius on a Map

Distance is hard to feel in a list and easy to see on a map. Draw a circle around a point and the question "what's within reach?" answers itself — everything inside the ring counts, everything outside fades back.
The ring around a point
GeoMaps shades a radius around any location and sorts the points by which side of the line they fall on: in-range records light up in the active color, the rest dim to gray. Widen or tighten the circle and the set updates instantly, so you can feel out the right cutoff instead of guessing at one.

It's the logic behind a hundred everyday questions — which stores serve this neighborhood, which prospects are worth a detour, which sites overlap and which leave a gap — made visual and immediate.
